Question by claypinny: Who was the idiot who thought that Eric Clapton was a better guitar player than Mark Knofler?
Listen to the songs, compare the music…Mark Knofler isn’t as well known as Eric Clapton but is a universe away from Eric Clapton as far as guitar playing is concerned. I wonder if that same person has ever heard of Danny Gatton?

Which version of the Eric Clapton song Layla do you like better?

Question by Caplan: Which version of the Eric Clapton song Layla do you like better?
I love Eric Clapton. One of my favorite songs is Layla. There are two versions of it. The one that he sung with Derek and the Dominoes and the one he sung in his solo career. Personally I like the song part of his solo better but I love the ending 6 minutes of Layla with Derek. How about you and why?

I’m trying to secure the best seats possible for my boyfriend for 2 tickets to see Eric Clapton in San Jose, CA. Tix go onsale Sunday, Dec. 3. I figure the presale will have the best seats. Anyone know the presale password?
