I have a multi-effects pedal. Digitech RP255. It has a lot of combinations of things I can do to sound like a lot of bands. But I’m having trouble messing with it in order to get the sound of Interpol. Examples of settings I’m talking about: Compression, delay, pickup, distortion, FX, etc. Example of Interpol:

Alex, if you take a really good look at this video, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LNBJSei0XV0 you will see clearly that these guys do not use any effects pedals. All of there sound is clean, it’s very high treble (that gives it a thin sound) and whatever amp they are using, if it has any built in effects is what they are using. Sounds to me like a pretty thin very tin like clean sound with little gain applied to it. In my opinion that song would sound a whole lot better if they did use some kind of effects. You should be able to improve on it with that Digitech pedal.
