Question by shawn da man: What is the difference between a jam block and a moon block?
I would like to get a block for my drum kit to add a little pazaz but i’m not sure which type of block to go with. I’d like to get one like travis barker’s but i don’t know what kind he uses. I’ve looked at what are called moon blocks and i’ve also looked at jam blocks, but i’m not sure what the difference is. Can someone explain?

jam block is plastic, whereas moon block is synthetic with raised playing surface easy to hit sweet spot every time

I love jam bands (i.e. The Dead, Phish) and have started jamming seriously on guitar for the past year or so. I’ve been playing for about five years, and have a ‘67 Fender Mustang Reissue and an Epiphone Les Paul. My favorite guitarist is Trey Anastasio, and I was wondering what guitars (other than Languedocs) are good for jamming and/or sound like his, and are somewhat reasonably priced. Thanks in advance.
