Question by somedaysoon: What are some script terms for camera shots and transitions?
I’m doing Script Frenzy and I have never written a script before. I’m doing this just for fun and I might direct and produce it later if I have the time. Anyway, I get the whole character, action, and dialogue stuff, but I don’t know about the shots or transitions. Could you write out the terms and what they mean or give me a link to a site that already has done that? I need to know them by the time it starts. Thanks.

Fade in (camera starts showing a scene)
Fade out (maybe a quick black screen) and to another scene

Push in (camera zooms)
Pull out (Wide angel shot)

those are the most common

Looking for a tv script or monolog for the show greek. Mostly for the character “Rusty” I’ve searched everywhere can’t find anything! Please help ASAP!
