Question by Akira: What is some good countrywestern/rock music like the Doves song, “Kingdom of Rust”?
I really love Doves, especially their song, “Kingdom of Rust”. I really like the country western influences in that song, and how it makes you feel like your in a western movie! I wanna discover some more music with a similar country western style, but still retaining a rock/alternative edge. Any suggestions?

The first song I heard of theirs was either Original Sin or I Send a Message both off The Swing-great 80s album. The Gift off X was pretty cool…a lot to like on that album too. Ahhh, I’ll say Original Sin still is their best for me. I couldn’t get into their debut or other early albums till the Swing. They had their hits and misses along the way like any band. I’ll even give their last album with JD Fortune high marks so much that I’m looking forward to their next real studio effort if they ever stop jacking around!

Hey guys im looking to find the instrumental for the song by The lightning seeds-Sense.I saw the new bmw AD : joy is BMW and that song just drived me insane and i loved it but it seems that i can’t find that bmw version of the song so instead i have to find the old instrumental (melody) but that is fine too.So if anyone know where i can find it i would be very grateful because i have been searching it for hours.Thanks alot

I love Eric Clapton. One of my favorite songs is Layla. There are two versions of it. The one that he sung with Derek and the Dominoes and the one he sung in his solo career. Personally I like the song part of his solo better but I love the ending 6 minutes of Layla with Derek. How about you and why?

I really doubt that Robert Plant has ever sung in a Whitesnake song. He and David Coverdale weren’t really best friends… However, people say that Coverdale was trying to imitate Plant, so, probably he managed to do that so well in this song that you could not tell the difference. You can be sure it is not Plant.

The music and some of the lyrics to the song, “Oh! Darling” by Florence + the Machine sound rather similar to one of Patsy Clines or some other 50’s/60’s country singer. Could you please tell me what song it is? Thanks:)
Just figured it out, most of the music sounds like Imagine That, and the small upbeat parts sound like Never No More. And the lyrics have very similar parts to many songs.

in the movie Taken, when the girls get to the apartment the girls put on The Hives song and then when she comes out of the bathroom to answer the phone a different song with a female singer is playing. it’s not credited anywhere, does anyone know what it is?
